The extraordinary adventure of “Eat, Pray, Love” for me began six years ago in front of a plate of pasta in one of the Rome’s typical restaurants. From that moment, the journey has now arrived to Hollywood Studios, where the book is currentlly being transformed into a film. This feels ncredibile and pleasantly surreal.
During these years, I have lived the most joyous moments: from my first American Thanksgiving to the Christmas spent on the Tree Farm, to the numerous laughs around a table to the encounter with Julia Roberts.
But, most of all, this adventure gifted me the wonderful friensdship with Liz.
A friendship that started casually, grew naturally, protected and defended from the afar.
Is this the American dream of an Italian boy?
All this and more is told in my first book "Un amico italiano - Eat, Pray Love in Rome!" on sale May 2011; translated by Antony Shugaar. Also available as an e-book.
